Though we now have the library of images as part of the subscription at www.PazzlesCraftRoom.com, we have continued to provide this original collection for those who have already invested in credits. However this image center has slowly become more and more obsolete with the introduction of our new library at the Pazzles Craft Room. So we have decided it is time to retire the Image Center. The Image Center will be shut down on May 31st, 2012.

What does that mean for you?

If you have never used the Image Center, then you have nothing to worry about. Most of our customers have never or no longer use the Image Center so this will only be affecting a small number of people.

What if you DO use it and still have credits to spend?

The Image Center will be shutting down on May 31st so you may continue to use your credits until then. After May 31st you will no longer be able to use the Image Center. You may take any remaining credits that you have and apply them towards a subscription at the Craft Room where you will be able to enjoy our vast library of current images. To have your credits applied towards a Pazzles Craft Room membership please call us at 1-866-729-9537 and choose the extension for customer service. You may apply your credits towards a membership at any time.

If you own Adobe Illustrator CS5 or higher you will definitely want to keep reading! Our new plugin allows you to cut designs directly from Adobe Illustrator on your Mac OR PC! The plugin is small and easy to install. Once installed you can simply open Adobe Illustrator, create a design, and then go to the “File” drop down window and select “Cut Control” to open a cut control screen where you can select your cut settings and send your project to cut! We are so excited to offer this new option to Mac users who now can cut directly from their Mac and as well as to all Adobe Illustrator users who can now completely bi-pass the process of learning new software and get straight to creating! This is just one more way in which we strive to be the best company we can be to new and old customers alike.

Patch 1.3 (released 09/19/11) Includes the following:

• • Improvements to the code for cutting circles
• • Faster updating – this update along with all future updates to the Inspiration Creative Cutter should be significantly faster.
• • Various minor bug fixes

The following is for Inspiration Studio Pro users only:

• • SVG Import – SVG files will now import directly in to the Inspiration Studio Pro software.
• • New Mat Screen View – this feature allows you to turn the “page” on your screen in to a replica of your cutting mat so that you can easily determine where cuts will be on your mat. To turn this feature on go to the the “Setting” drop down menu and select “Page”. In the new window click on the circle next to “Show Cutting Mat” and then click “Ok” at the bottom of the window.
• • Enhanced Cut Accuracy option – This new toggle-able feature is under “Options” in the Cut Control Panel and will allow you to switch on “Enhanced Cut Accuracy” which for many users will improve scallops, circles, and tight corners.
• • Improved “Center Line” vectorization – Found under Vectorization in the “Shape” drop down menu, this feature, which is often used for rhinestones or to change a regular font to a single stroke font, will now produce smoother and cleaner lines.
• • Auto Trace – Intensity Detect will now automatically vectorize your image after selecting “OK” in the Intensity Detect window

Take the creative freedom of your Pazzles Inspiration in to the kitchen with the new Pazzles Pastry Tools. After over a year of perfecting the tools and process, we at Pazzles are pleased to announce our line of Pastry tools. These Pastry tools will allow you to be able to cut edible materials using the Pazzles Inspiration. You will be able to create custom edible designs for your cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cake balls, pies…really about anything you can dream up.

The most important tool in this new line is the Pastry Tool itself. This tool will replace your blade holder just like our other tools such as the Pen Tool. The Pastry Tool holds a food safe blade and offers more clearance for thicker materials. The Pastry Tool will cut edible materials just like your normal blade would cut paper. Some examples of materials you will be able to cut are fondant and gumpaste (edible frosting-like materials often used on cakes). You can also cut other materials like cookie dough, modeling chocolate, and even cheese and fruit leather. Each material has it’s own tricks for success but you can anticipate many upcoming tutorials at www.PazzlesCraftRoom.com to help you master the process.

Along with the Pastry Tool will be a Pastry Mat made of food safe material. This mat will hold your edible material as it is being cut, much like the normal mat holds paper but without the sticky surface. We will also be offering products such as Wilton Sugar Sheets® (which cut beautifully), ready made fondant, and pastry rollers for rolling out the material you want to cut.
